What a start to the year it has been. The first few months of 2026 have flown by and there has been a real sense of momentum across the business. Growth, milestones, new ideas and some very special personal celebrations too.
And as we continue to brave what feels like endless rain, it feels like the perfect time to share what has been happening behind the scenes at Henwood Court.
A Warm Welcome to Tom Stone
We were delighted to welcome Tom Stone to the team in January as our new Onboarding Chartered Wealth Manager.
Tom brings a wealth of experience to Henwood Court and will play a key role in supporting our continued organic growth and ongoing business improvements.
It has been fantastic to see the positive impact he has already made. His attitude, expertise and seamless integration into the team have been brilliant, and we are excited to see this continue to develop in the months ahead.
Welcome to the team Tom!

Celebrating 20 Years of Kitty
In January we celebrated an extraordinary milestone, 20 years of Katherine at Henwood Court, though to us she is better known as Kitty.
Kitty is truly exceptional. Thorough, dynamic and endlessly dependable, she brings care and consistency to everything she does. We are incredibly lucky to have her.
Here is to another 20 years, Kit 🙂

Exam Success
Huge congratulations to Kurtis who has officially passed his R06 – Financial Planning exam!
This was the final exam required to complete his Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning, meaning Kurtis is now officially DIPPFS qualified, a fantastic achievement. Well done Kurtis!
Investing in Your ExperienceÂ
We are constantly investing in improving our operations and your experience with us. This month we introduced a brand new telecommunications system, saying goodbye to traditional handsets and hello to a fully integrated software and app based system.
The result is even more seamless communication between our team and, most importantly, with you.
AI in the Workplace
On a personal note, last week I spent the morning in Bank, London, with leading Artificial Intelligence (AI) professionals exploring the evolving role of AI in the workplace.
AI is undoubtedly exciting and a little daunting, but by approaching it thoughtfully and responsibly we can ensure it enhances what we do, while keeping the human element firmly at the centre.

Your Feedback Matters
We have recently introduced a new client survey that is sent following your progress review meetings.
This initiative forms part of our commitment to continuously personalise and improve your experience with us. Your feedback genuinely helps us refine and enhance what we do, so thank you to everyone who has already taken the time to participate.
Pensions and Inheritance Tax Masterclass
It has been wonderful to see so much enthusiasm for our upcoming Pensions and Inheritance Tax Masterclass.
We are hosting two sessions (click to view):
4th March, online via Zoom.
12th March, exclusive in person seminar at Moxhull Hall.
21 Years of Henwood Court
Can you believe it is already a year since we celebrated turning 20!
Last year’s celebrations were such a true reflection of who we are as a business, bringing together clients, partners and our team to share in individual success and collective prosperity. We still talk in the office about how special that day was and what it meant to celebrate it with so many of you.
Twenty one years on, we remain as committed as ever to building long term relationships and delivering meaningful financial planning.

Personal Congratulations
We have also had some lovely personal milestones to celebrate.
Yvonne is a grandma! Last Thursday her daughter Jade welcomed a beautiful baby boy into the world. We are all absolutely thrilled for you, Yvonne, and I am sure grandma duties are already well underway.
Julia celebrated her 25th wedding anniversary in India and shared some incredible photos from her trip. We smiled from our office chairs as it drizzled outside… Congratulations to you both!

Thank you for reading February’s Court Gossip. Wishing you all a wonderful March, and I look forward to seeing many of you at the Masterclass.
Very best,
Georgia
