At work

Matt studied Criminology at the University of Leicester before embarking on a career in financial services with Lloyds Bank in 2013.  His goal for 2022 is to begin his qualifications to become a Chartered Financial Planner which will broaden his financial planning knowledge and help his clients further.

Matt enjoys meeting new people and understanding their goals and ambitions.  He is committed to giving comprehensive financial advice and was recently awarded his Certified Professional in Financial Advice status.

Personally

At home

When not at work, Matt can be found either watching or playing a variety of sports including football, golf and his most recent passion go karting.  He is a novice go karter but, with the help of his dad and brother, they plan to enter the National Kart Cup in 2023.  His weekends, if not consumed by sport, consist of walking his boxweiler, Eric, with his partner and spending time with family and friends.

What do you enjoy most about your job?

Meeting new people, understanding their goals and aspirations and helping them put a plan in place to achieve these.

What motivates you at work?

Being able to have conversations with clients where they realise that their dreams have, or will, become reality.

Who inspires you? Why?

My Dad, as his work ethic is something to be admired. My partner also drives me to give us the most prosperous life possible.

Tell us something people may be surprised to learn about you…

At the weekend you will find me either playing Sunday league football or racing my Senior Rotax kart with my brother and dad.

What’s at the top of your bucket list?

To travel to Sao Paulo to watch an F1 race and visit the Ayrton Senna memorial.
