Steven Read

Chartered Financial Planner

Professionally

Steve has been a Chartered Financial Planner since 2012. He is highly qualified and has been awarded the designation of Fellow of the Personal Finance Society (PFS) in recognition of his commitment to professional excellence. He also has a Masters Degree in Business Administration.

Steve enjoys spending time talking to clients, understanding their needs and developing effective relationships, allowing him to provide Financial solutions and support that helps them enjoy the life they want to live and the retirement they aspire to.

Personally

Steve is married and lives in Sutton Coldfield with his wife and grown-up son.

Family time is important to him and he spends his spare time sampling the delights of local restaurants with his friends and family, valiantly trying to keep up with his fitness fanatic son in the gym and chasing his 2, well trained! miniature labradoodles around Sutton Park.

A real treat for him is to go travelling with his family, and when they get the chance, the Greek Islands and Italy are favourite destinations.

He likes to put something back into society and is proud to be a regular blood donor heading towards a Silver Donor Award and he has also run in The Midlands Fun Run to raise funds for The Brain Tumour Charity.

Importantly

All financial advisers in the UK must hold a valid Statement of Professional Standing (SPS). In an age where financial scams pose a real threat, it’s important to make sure you don’t take financial advice from anyone who doesn’t hold a valid SPS.
