Henwood’s Mission 10,000 Update
Our virtual journey for Annabelle’s Challenge continues to gather pace! This week we raced through Bangkok, Thailand, bringing our grand total to 6,200 miles and putting us well on the way to smashing our 10,000 mile target. Every mile makes a difference in raising awareness of this rare condition.

Wedding Bells
A huge congratulations to Elliot Newton, who tied the knot in late July with his wonderful wife Hannah. The celebrations didn’t stop there as the newlyweds embarked on an unforgettable honeymoon across Zimbabwe and Tanzania. Wishing them a lifetime of love, laughter and adventure.

Baby Joy
Our lovely Yvonne had some fabulous news this summer as her daughter Jade is expecting a baby boy. This will be Yvonne’s first grandchild and we couldn’t be more excited for both Jade and Yvonne as they begin this wonderful new chapter.
Flying the Henwood Flag in London
This month Peter Robins took to the stage as a panelist at the FT Adviser Annual Financial Advice Forum in London. The discussion centred on how clients have been impacted by the 2024 Autumn Budget and, crucially, how advisers can best communicate these changes. A brilliant opportunity to showcase Henwood’s insight and expertise on the national stage. Well done Peter!
Offsite Team Day
In September we enjoyed an offsite team day where we came together to talk about exciting new things on the horizon for Henwood Court. It was a great chance to share ideas, reflect and plan for the future. We wrapped up the day with a delicious curry at Malai in Sutton Coldfield, which was the perfect way to end a fantastic day together.
Sad but Glad
We couldn’t finish without mentioning our marketeer, business support and party planner Georgia Platt. Georgia has followed her dream and is moving to Clapham Common, London! While we’ll miss her in the office, it’s not goodbye. Georgia will continue working remotely with us so we get the best of both worlds.

“Some of you may know I’ve always wanted to live in London ever since graduating from university in 2023, so I’m so happy to finally be making the move. I’m feeling very lucky to have the opportunity and excited for this next chapter! I’ll still be coming into the office every month to create content and catch up with everyone, so you definitely haven’t seen the last of me!”
