Jason Ashman

Director & Chartered Financial Planner

Professionally

Jason’s role is a combination of a financial planner, compliance officer, director and part of the firm’s leadership team. Jason entered financial services in 1994 and aside from a few years in the beginning, he has always worked for small boutique financial planning firms.

On a day-to-day basis, Jason provides financial planning advice to clients. His specialisms include pension transfers and those areas of work which require specific involvement from a compliance perspective, whether this be making regulatory returns to the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) or reviewing and developing the firm’s procedures in the ever-changing regulatory environment.

Personally

Jason is married and lives in Solihull with his wife and two daughters. The family have recently completed the restoration of the Victorian terrace home they purchased a few years ago.

Jason spends as much of his spare time as possible with his family and friends, enjoying the countryside around them and socialising together (an activity which normally centres around food and drink). In fact, Jason loves to cook; his younger daughter is his toughest critic! When he does get time to himself, he likes to dive into literature, music and history.
