Professionally

Naomi has worked in the Financial Planning profession since 2012 having previously worked in both small boutique firms and large national organisations.

Naomi holds the Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning and has joined Henwood Court as an Associate Financial Planner, providing technical support to our Financial Planners and support team.

Naomi particularly enjoys undertaking technical research and making complex financial solutions simple for clients to understand.

Personally

Outside of work Naomi enjoys travelling to new places, eating good food, socialising with friends and family and keeping generally fit and active. She’s a big animal lover and although she doesn’t currently have any of her own, she’s particularly happy around dogs and horses!

What motivates you at work?

Doing a great job and ultimately seeing the positive difference that we make to our clients’ lives through good financial planning.

What's at the top of your bucket list?

To travel as much as possible, to as many places as possible! | love exploring new places and want to see much more of the world.

Naomi’s Qualifications

  • Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (DipPFS) including:
  • R01 – Financial Services, Regulations and Ethics: This unit assesses a knowledge and understanding of the financial services industry, including regulation, legislation and the Code of Ethics.
  • R02 – Investments Principles and Risk: This unit assesses a knowledge and understanding of investment products and the application of the investment advice process.
  • R03 – Personal Taxation: This unit assesses a knowledge and understanding of the UK taxation system, and the ability to analyse the taxation treatment of individuals and trusts during the investment advice process.
  • R04 – Pensions and Retirement Planning: This unit assesses a knowledge and understanding of and ability to analyse pension and retirement planning issues.
  • R05 – Financial Protection: This unit assesses a knowledge and understanding of and ability to analyse financial protection planning issues.
  • R06 – Financial Planning Practice: This unit assesses the practical application of technical knowledge and planning skills already gained, typically through previous study, thereby supporting the provision of competent and appropriate advice.
  • J02 – Trusts: This unit develops and assesses knowledge and understanding of the various types of trust.
  • AF1 – Personal Tax & Trust Planning: This level 6 unit develops in depth financial planning skills related to personal tax and trusts, assessing technical knowledge and focused application to practical situations.
  • AF4 – Investment Planning: This level 6 unit develops in depth financial planning skills related to investments and the management of investment portfolios, assessing technical knowledge and focused application to practical situations.
  • Certificate in Discretionary Investment Management (CertPFS (DM)): This level 4 Certificate in Discretionary Investment Management develops the wealth strategy and portfolio management skills required for effective discretionary investment management.
