Businesssense@ has been sitting on the shelf gathering dust for a few years.

Now, it’s back, but this time we are doing things a little differently.

A few years ago, at a previous Businesssense@ event, we launched Retireability…the play. It followed Mark, a successful business owner who had become completely consumed by his business, to the detriment of everything else around him.

It reflected something many business owners will recognise.

I passionately believe that running a business should give you two things:

1. Time to enjoy a great life
2. The money to afford it

But that is often easier said than done.

Building and growing a business can be incredibly rewarding, but it can also be demanding, isolating and all-consuming. It is very easy for the business to become “our baby”, with everything else gradually taking a back seat.

That is why we are bringing Businesssense@ back in a smaller, more intimate format, creating space for honest conversation between like-minded business owners.

This is an invite-only event, designed to encourage open discussion in a confidential environment under Chatham House Rule.

There is no formal agenda and no corporate presentations. The conversation will be shaped by the people in the room.
