Court Gossip: November 2026
By Georgia Platt
It’s been another busy few months here at Henwood Court, and we’ve certainly had plenty to celebrate! From exam success and milestone anniversaries to industry recognition and exciting new content, there’s lots to catch up on in our latest edition of Court Gossip.
So, grab a drink and enjoy a little update on what’s been happening behind the scenes.
Exam success: Lydia is Chartered!
A huge congratulations to Lydia Nash, who has achieved Chartered status! After five years of industry experience and completing the Advanced Diploma in Financial Planning, this is a fantastic achievement and one she has worked incredibly hard for. Well done!
Celebrating 10 years
We’ve also had not one, but two very special work anniversaries to celebrate!
Le and Helen have both reached an incredible 10 years with Henwood Court.
A decade is quite the milestone, and we’re so grateful for everything they’ve contributed to the business over the years. Both have played an important part in our journey, helping Henwood Court grow into the firm it is today.
It’s people like Le and Helen who make Henwood Court such a special place to work, and we couldn’t let the occasion pass without a big thank you.

Naomi makes the final
Wednesday evening was another exciting occasion, as the Professional Adviser Women in Financial Advice Awards took place at the Hilton London Bankside.
Our very own Naomi was shortlisted as a finalist for Woman of the Year: Paraplanning, an incredible achievement in what is always a highly competitive category.
Although Naomi didn’t take home the award this time, being recognised among some of the industry’s most talented women is something to be incredibly proud of.
By all accounts, it was a wonderful evening celebrating the achievements, contributions and successes of women across the financial advice profession.
A huge congratulations to Naomi on her well-deserved finalist recognition.
We’re a Great Place to Work®!
We’re thrilled to have been certified as a Great Place to Work®! The certification is based entirely on anonymous feedback from our own team, covering trust, respect, fairness and how we feel about coming to work each day. Read the full story here.
Our Charity of the Year: Liberty Jamboree
We’re so excited to announce that Liberty Jamboree is our Charity of the Year! Based just down the road in Lichfield, Liberty supports children, young people and young adults aged 8 to 35 across Staffordshire and the West Midlands who have special educational needs, disabilities, neurodivergent conditions, or social, emotional and mental health needs. They run inclusive youth clubs, sports, social outings, supported holidays and life and employment skills programmes, and they support families and carers too.
To kick off the partnership, a small group from Liberty came to visit us at The Cruck Barn, and it was lovely to meet them! We can’t wait to get stuck in with fundraising and volunteering over the coming year, so watch this space. Find out more here.
