Culture & Training Manager
My new role has two elements to it: Culture and Training but to me, they amount to the same thing, people!
Culture is defined as: “the ideas, customs, and social behaviour of a particular people or society”. Working at Henwood Court for over seven years means that I have a clear understanding of what being part of Henwood Court really means. My aim is to define and clearly communicate this throughout our ever growing team so that we can ensure that whatever we do, we embrace the culture and core values of Henwood Court.
In the same way that Henwood Court supports our clients in their financial planning matters, my new role also involves looking at ways that we can, as a company, continue to provide a supportive and stimulating work environment for our team that encourages them to develop and grow in their roles but also, in this ever changing and challenging world, ensures that their personal wellbeing is paramount.
Having been in the industry for over 25 years, I understand the function and pressures associated with each role within the company and can use this to identify training and development needs within the team as well as develop a leading training programme for new team members. This will enable Henwood Court to continue to offer industry leading service and continually exceed client expectations whilst also ensuring that our team members feel valued and supported.
Above all, my new role is about supporting the team here at Henwood Court to be the best that they can be whilst ensuring that they feel valued and always consider their personal wellbeing. It’s something I’m passionate about and I’m very much looking forward to the challenge.
