How we work

Remarkable value and service

While we would love to quote our precise fees here, because we have a range of services personalised to your needs, that’s not possible.

However, no one likes surprises. So we will explain the approximate cost of our services. After our initial introductory meeting, which is held at our expense, we’ll provide you with a full breakdown of our fees. That means you will know exactly what you will pay if we choose to work with each other.

The only thing below average about Henwood Court is their fees. Having moved from my previous wealth manager to Henwood Court, I benefited from my fees dropping and the services massively improving. The value is much better. They have guided me towards financial freedom, ensuring I have enough and keeping my plan on track. Our Fees

Our Value Guarantee

We provide great advice, outstanding service, care and attention that results in far more value than typical advisory and wealth management fees deliver.

However, we understand that engaging with a financial planner, especially if it’s your first time, can make some people nervous. So, we want to make it easy for you.

Our Value Guarantee means that after six months, if you do not feel that you have received value above the fees paid, we will offer a full refund of the ongoing advice fees you have paid, and we will part as friends.

This excludes the value of any implementation fees paid or costs incurred from the parties, such as fund managers or investment platforms.

Our fees

Our ongoing fees

Our service is far from average. We are confident that we provide a significantly more comprehensive service than the average advisory firm and that we give more for less. That’s our Value Guarantee.

Financial plan

We charge a flat fee, which starts at £2,000. It is personally costed according to your needs and complexity.

This includes:

  • All new clients are taken through our comprehensive Financialsense® Discovery Programme. This is unique to us and designed to provide our clients with immense value.
  • We spend around 30 to 40 hours getting to know you and creating your financial life plan.

Any fees are currently VAT exempt.

Implementation

We typically charge 1% of the amount invested.

This includes:

  • Rearranging investments or pensions
  • Research
  • Written recommendations
  • Arrangement
  • Administration

For example, if you invested £500,000, we would charge you £5,000.

If you would like to switch or consolidate some of your existing pension or personal investments to an alternative provider, we charge 1.5% of the level of funds rearranged, subject to a minimum fee of £1,500.

For example, if you invested £500,000, we would charge you £7,500.

Any fees are currently VAT exempt.

Ongoing planning

Our ongoing advice and service fee is 1% of assets under management each year (subject to a minimum annual fee dependent on the service selected) and is tapered down as your assets under management increase.

This includes:

  • Annual reviews to keep you focused on meeting your goals and objectives
  • Continued advice on wealth management matters.
  • Working with your trusted professionals.

For example, if you had £500,000 of assets under management, we would charge you £5,000 per year.

Any fees are currently VAT exempt.
