Last month has been busy with us winning two industry gold standard awards. We were awarded highly commended in the category of Best Retirement Adviser of the Year at the 2021 Investment Life & Pensions MoneyFacts Awards which was followed by another accolade from journal Money Marketing for Best Retirement Advice Firm 2021, following-up on our win in 2020.

The judges said

‘Henwood Court not only had a very strong financial planning business but was ahead of the competition in several ways. Many of its rivals provide financial coaching but Henwood Court tailors it for specific clients.

Materials are produced to help clients understand retirement in the way that is best for them, whether webinars, newsletters or books. This approach, the panel said demonstrated emotional intelligence, articulating what retirement meant in human terms. It almost felt like the firm was bringing a community together.

The judges heard the firm was interested in ways of learning to improve best practice and acquiring fresh ideas. They found Henwood Court had a well-articulated, customer focused proposition. It was investing in its future and there was a good ration of back-office staff to advisers’.

Like everyone, we all enjoy a few pats on the back, and while the real judge is the clients experience and value they receive, these also mean an awful lot to us all’.
