Well Being Walk becomes a permanent fixture
Following a suggestion in our suggestion box, we have made our ‘Wellbeing Walk’ a monthly event on the first Tuesday of each month.
Lynette is our walk organiser and tasked with planning the routes and testing them out first! The team need to come prepared with suitable outdoor coats / shoes etc. A change of shoes is advised so that we don’t bring half of Newhall Valley back into the office with us. Jason was very well prepared with his ‘wellies’. It’s a great opportunity for the team to come together, get some exercise, fresh air and a proper break away from the office. We did have to remind Elliot and Anthony at the start of the October Walk that it was not a race back to the office, in fact we all whizzed around to the point that Lynette now needs to plan longer routes for future walks!
Time flies when you’re having fun
Over the past few months, we’re thrilled to celebrate the remarkable milestones of several long-serving team members, each an invaluable part of the Henwood Court family.
In September, we celebrated Helen Allen’s impressive 8-year journey with us, followed by Lenea Appleby reaching the same milestone in October, whilst Lynette Coffey marked an extraordinary 10 years of dedication to Henwood Court. In November we celebrated 9 years of ‘Our Vonnie’ and a fabulous 12 years for Jason!
Each of these individuals contributes unique qualities and steadfast commitment that make Henwood Court such a wonderful place to work and grow. Their dedication and hard work have been pivotal in shaping our company culture and fostering our values. We’re truly fortunate to have them as part of our team!

Le, Yvonne and their partners had a great night and I think you’ll agree that they look fabulous too!
Kipps, The New Half a Sixpence Musical
Some of you may already know that we have a talented actress in the office! We love supporting Lynette in her theatre productions and we have recently found out that she has been cast as Mrs Walsingham in the theatre production of Kipps, the New Half a Sixpence Musical being held in May 2025 at Sutton Coldfield Town Hall. Having read a little about Mrs Walsinghams characteristics we should be in for a treat.

Simon White recently took on an incredible 61-mile ride, complete with breathtaking views, challenging climbs, and technical terrain—a true bucket-list adventure for many mountain biking enthusiasts. This isn’t Simon’s first time tackling the route either; he’s completed it several times before! Well done, Si!
Meanwhile, our very own Anthony Richards completed ‘Run Leicester 10K’, fundraising for a Cancer Recovery Charity based in Ibstock. Congratulations, Anthony, on supporting such a meaningful cause and being part of this exciting event!
Welcome to the Team, Kurtis Bedward!
Welcome Kurtis, who joined Henwood Court in early November! Kurtis has slotted right into Henwood Court life, bringing great energy and enthusiasm to the team. We’re thrilled to have him on board and excited to see the impact he’ll make.

There’s sNOw Stopping Us!
There’s something magical about our lovely barn in the winter—it always looks its best this time of year!
The snow arrived just in time for us to put the tree up in the office. It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas…
Festive Fun at the NEC: Our Christmas Celebration
The team celebrated Christmas in style at the NEC! The evening kicked off with glasses of champagne, followed by a delicious three-course meal. The festivities continued with plenty of dancing and wrapped up with a blast of fun on the fairground rides. A night to remember for everyone.
To top it all off, we captured a lovely photo of Nick’s Angels!
Jolly Jumper Day
We held our annual Christmas jumper day raising much needed funds for St Giles Hospice whilst we also had a team breakfast, shared Secret Santa gifts and took part in some festive games.
