Year End Coffee Shop Lunch

By way of a thank you to the team for their hard work, as always but particularly at the end of the tax year, we took our team to our lovely local café, Club Cappuccino, in Walmley for lunch and homemade cakes. We have a great team so socialising together is always good fun. A few of the team were on holiday so we will have to do it again. More cake!

A warm welcome to Edward Brain

We are delighted to welcome Edward Brain who joins our expanding team as a Technical Assistant, with several years of experience in the Financial Planning and Wealth Management industry. In his spare time Edward enjoys live music, fine dining, Aston Villa and relaxing with his best friend and cockapoo, Buster. He also enjoys weight training, swimming and cooking as part of a healthy diet. This year Edward also plans on taking golf lessons so as to try and emulate the successes of all the Brains before him. It will be good to see him on the golf course soon.

Well Done Elliot

We are really pleased for Elliot Newton who has passed his AF4 (Investment Planning) and J10 (Discretionary Investment Management) exams. It’s great to see his hard work paying off, adding more accolades to our highly qualified team. Elliot is also known in the office for his great sense of humour!

Charity Golf Day

On Friday the 12th May we hosted our Charity Golf Day at Little Aston Golf club which is always a fabulous opportunity for clients and our team to get to know each other and enjoy some ‘healthy competition’! What a great course to do so, too.

The weather was relatively kind to us given the storms we had had leading up to the day, although it could have done with being a bit warmer for the ‘non-golfers’!

We saw some great golf, (and some not so!), with some brilliant attempts to ‘beat the pro’. We were treated to Vonnie’s homemade ‘All Bran’ cake at the halfway house which went down a storm, together with the obligatory pork pie and Vonnie’s mum’s sausage rolls.

The day was topped off with an excellent evening meal, thanks to the club, with everyone enjoying their speciality, Little Aston steak pie! We finished off the day with a fun prize giving to all the winning teams and individuals and thanked everyone for contributing to the £1200 raised for our chosen charity The James Brindley Foundation.
