Jason Ashman

Director and Chartered Financial Planner

Professionally

Jason has worked in financial services since 1993. After studying Economics at London Metropolitan University and Agricultural Economics at the University of Aberdeen, Jason took his interest across the globe to work abroad in New Zealand.

As of today, Jason has worked in financial services for more than 24 years; 21 of which have been spent as a Financial Planner delivering holistic, independent advice. He is a Chartered Financial Planner, an accreditation indicative of his high levels of expertise.

Personally

Jason is married and lives in Solihull with his wife and two daughters. The family have almost completed the restoration of the Victorian terrace home they purchased a few years ago.

Jason spends as much of his spare time as possible with his family and friends, enjoying the countryside around them and socialising together (an activity which normally centres around food and drink). In fact, Jason loves to cook; his younger daughter is his toughest critic! When he does get time to himself, he likes to dive into literature, music and history.

Importantly

All financial advisers in the UK must be registered on the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) register and hold a valid Statement of Professional Standing (SPS). In an age where financial scams pose a real threat, it’s important to make sure you don’t take financial advice from anyone who doesn’t appear on the FCA Register or hold a valid SPS.
