The fee is currently £72.50 irrelevant of how you apply.
From the 27th March 2018 the fee will rise to £75.50 for online applications and £85.00 for postal applications.
Find that little hideaway where we all hide our passports (for safe keeping) and check the renewal date now.
If you have 9 months or less before it is due to expire then renew now to benefit from the lower cost. When you renew your passport, time left on your existing passport is added to your new one, up to a maximum of 9 months.
To keep the costs to a minimum renew your passport online.
